Basket Boats

This week we have been learning about thung chai they are basket boats in Vietnam. They use them to go fishing.
In New Zealand we use racing boats for racing.

Creative Paragraphs- Man In Space

This week we have been learning to rework our writing to make our paragraphs interesting for our audience. We started by writing a creative sentence about this picture. As a class we will choose Nate's sentence because we liked it the best and wrote a paragraph each to follow the chosen sentence. Here is the beginning of my story that starts with Nate's sentence.

.A spaceman bravely walks out into the icy milky way. as he walks he watches the milky way. the stars look like they are moving.

 When the milky way is movies it looks like the stars are moving to but when the milky way is moving the stars ain't moving it is always funny because it is actually moving it is only the milky way.


 And all around the milky way it is thick and cold when you go to space you go in a ship you can go in a ship with a friend or your family you can go anywhere you can go to the city.

 When we got to the city we went to the milky way when we got to the city there was a jet plane when the jet plane was there went in to it.

Angel Technology

Technology is when you stay with a problem. then you think how you are gonna shove it then you create it then you design it.and Technology is making things.

All About My Hoilday Highlight

Last week I went to the G.I pools.with my Family then i was with my mum my sister and my brothers and all so my dad. When we got to the pools we were playing then we jumped in the cold pool and it was so so cold then we got out and went in to the worm pool. We saw memory then me and my sister and memory were swimming together then we all were just talking in the pool then we were swimming then we got at for a rest. When we got out we had lunch for lunch we had fish and chips and after lunch we had ice cream and chocolate then we had a rest again then we jumped back in the pool then we were playing with our other friends. Then when we finish playing with our other friends we went home and went to sleep. My Favorite thing that i liked was playing with memory and our other friends and then when we had lunch.

Room 9&10 has been learning about omaru creek when we go pass the creek it small we don't like it if there is rubs and when it clean we are happy. This is a post of omaru creek.

Year 5&6 camp

All the year 5 & 6 had camp and it was fun on the first day of camp i was happy i am in the host squad and the frist acttivity we did was rollerblading then when we were done with our frist acttivity it was morning tea.

on wednesday we did lots of activity and what group was i in was Honest squad i had the best team teacher she gave all of us treas  when we were cooking biscuits and when it was done my whole team got to have one biscuits and it was so so yumm.

on thursday we did lots of active the activities that we did was killer zone and get lost and on thursday night was our consite and it was so so fun on that night we had the best group and the winning times was the Honest squad and the song for and the first thing in the morning we did kayaking the things we use is was life vests then after kayaking we did rollerblading and playing basketball and

on friday we all went to the maige pools we left after breakfast when we got there we had a snack then went to the outside pools then when we got to the outside pools  we had morning tea because it was going to be morning tea so we had morning tea then when we were done morning tea miss  Vaafusuaga was letting teams go the mataponi E, group went first then the winning squad and i was in that time we went after the first group how went first then all the other groups came when i jumped in the pools it was so so could.               

The best thing that i liked at camp was rollerblading and baking.
