This week, we are focusing on adding and subtracting decimals. In this presentation we were introducing to golden rule. I already knew golden rule and have completed this presentation. Which also is the reasons for why I think this was a very easy task.

MY FIRST YEAR IN YEAR 7

On the first day of school 2017 I was worthy of becoming a year 7 student as I walked through the door I thought for a second and said its going to be hard now that I am a year 7 it was much easier when I was a year 6 but now that I am a year 7 I have to try my hardest.

To try my hardest in year 7 I will have to not talk to other people while the teacher is talking and I shall not sit next to anyone that I will talk to and they will talk to me.When I was a year 6 I wasn't listening really well to the teacher so this year in year 7 I will have to try and listen to the teacher.

On the second week of school I really liked to be a year 7 because we do better work then when I was in year 6. The work in year 6 was really boring so now that I am in year 7 I have really have good work.So when I get told to do my work I am really happy because it is good work that my teachers give me.

Through out the term every morning we start at 8:30 because we have our own senior assembly so we can kick our day off and to get our brain working for the day.So when we are having our assembly we do our mihi and the karakia once we are done with our assembly we go to our classes.

My favourite thing in year 7 is going to teach and we do sports when the year 8's go's to teach so that we have something to do when they are gone.And my other favourite thing about being in year 7 is coming to school before 8:30 and then coming in side the senior space and having assembly with all the year 7's and 8's.

Organising Whole Numbers and Decimals

Our Task, this week is to complete this presentation by the end of the week. In this presentation we have to put the whole numbers and decimal numbers in order. On the slide that has the fishermen/women, the person who caught the biggest fish was Jason Sealey with the length of 83 from Cape Karikari.

A WONDERFUL TRIP TO POLY FEST

One Thursday morning year 7 and 8’s from pt England school went on a trip that is called poly fest.Poly fest is a place were culture people perform. But that Thursday morning the year 7 and 8’s went to go and sat down on the grass in our glass lines once we were finished we got departed from the grass so that Sabrina can show us around. that was my first time that day will be the day i will remember.

When we got to the poly fest there was all sorts of school’s and all sort’s of stage’s were culture people perform.Once we went around for a little tour we spelt into groups so we can go and find something interesting for us and other people which was fun.Once we find something interesting we were happy and then when we finished that we went to another to relax were ever there was shed once we find a stage

Me and my group went to a stage called the niu fm. The dj was playing music that we knew so we saw no one dacing to it so we got up and daced once we got up and danced people came and joined us and then we enjoyed dacing with other people from other schools.

My best thing about poly fest is the store’s and the performance’s were people have fun performing.that day was my first time there poly fest is a place were i would go and support other people while they are dacing.
